Hello! My name is Esperanza Mendez, and I’m a proud Kindergarten teacher with a passion for making a difference in the lives of young learners. With a Master’s degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction, I’ve dedicated my career to creating engaging, meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
As both an educator and a mom, I’ve come to recognize the need for high-quality summer programs in the Bay Area—programs that are not only fun and enriching but also thoughtfully designed to support children’s growth during the summer months. This realization led me to launch my very own summer camp program: Sparkle and Shine.
